ICE RINK CHILLERS & REFRIGERATION SYSTEMS
Minnesota Ice will design the best refrigeration package for your rink project.
Indoor Packages - Minnesota Ice can design a built in place chiller package or a skid design that can be up and running in no time.
Outdoor Packages - Minnesota Ice can design Ammonia or Freon based chillers that can be completely housed outside of your rink freeing up space and adding one more layer of safety to your visitors.
Ammonia - Due to the phaseout of ozone depleting HFC refrigerants current and prospective rink owners are considering turning to ammonia based refrigeration systems.
Suva 407A - (R-407A) is a non-ozone-depleating HFC refrigerant. It is good choice when designing and installing new low-and medium- temperature refrigeration systems desiring a lower GWP option than R-404A or R-507.
Freon - R-22 is subject to Montreal Protocol and phaseout, but can easily be replaced with an ISCEON refrigerant.
ISCEON MO99 - is a non-ozone-depleteting HFC Refrigerant designed to replace R-22 in existing direct expansion (DX) residential and commercial air conditioning (AC) and medium-and low-temperature refrigeration systems. ISCEON MO99 is comparable with traditional and new lubricants; in most cases no change of lubricant type during retrofit is required. Field experience has shown that ISCEON MO99 provides performance that meets customer requirements in most properly retrofitted systems. ISEON MO99 provides similar cooling capacity and energy efficiency to R-22 in most systems, while operating at a lower compressor discharge temperature. Actual performance depends on system design and operating conditions.
